Hey, all! I'm Aisha [pronounced ash-ear / æʃ-ɪə in the phonetic spelling], a second year PhD student and PGTA at the University of Birmingham. I work under the supervision of Professor Lisa Bortolotti and Dr Francesco Antilici. My research is on childhood trauma. I'm interested in the effects of childhood trauma on the self, what experiences of trauma mean for our understandings of personhood, and moral reactive attitudes in response to traumatic experiences.
